The illumiFacial combines medical grade Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with a chemical peel to target redness, broken capillaries and pigmentation beneath the surface of the skin. The light energy is absorbed by unwanted pigment and visible vessels, which then break down and fade, revealing a clearer, more even complexion.
It's brilliant for thread veins and sun damage, and it leaves skin with a gorgeous, healthy glow.

What to expect
I'll cleanse and prep your skin, then take you through both stages: the tri-acid peel, which you'll feel as a light tingle, and the IPL, where you'll wear protective eyewear and feel a warm flick with each pulse of light. It's quick, comfortable and surprisingly relaxing.
Aftercare
- Any pigmentation may darken and flake away over 7-10 days. That means it's working, so please don't pick!
- Your skin may feel slightly dry or flaky from the peel for a few days.
- Wear SPF 50 every day and avoid direct sun.
- Avoid heat (saunas, hot baths, intense workouts) for 48 hours, and skip retinol and acids for a few days.

FAQs
How many sessions will I need?
You'll see a difference after one, but a course of 3 gives the best results for vessels and pigmentation.
Is it suitable for all skin tones?
IPL isn't suitable for every skin tone, which is why I always assess you and carry out a patch test first. If it isn't right for you, I'll recommend something that is.
